After any muscular injury or surgical procedure, it is absolutely crucial to rehabilitate the injured and now healed structures. Failure to do so will lead to recurring injuries in the exact same area or in a different body part. Injuries causes weakness in muscles and this has to be rehabilitated after the muscles have healed physiologically or surgical procedure was performed to fix an injury.
It is also important to remember to take responsibility for your own rehabilitation. In the event of surgery if the relevant surgeon does not suggest rehab, contact a physiotherapist and find out what and how long rehab will be necessary to prevent future further injuries.
Your body allows you to do so much, you have a responsibility to it as well!!!!
